ABOUT MARCIN
In 2013, Marcin Król left his native Poland to travel the world and learn from the best. Indeed, his culinary career then began at none other than the very best at Copenhagen's world-renowned Noma while still in his teens.
After just over a year in Copenhagen, a little travel and a brief failed attempt at university ensued. However, all ended well for Marcin as he found himself assuming the role of Executive Sous-Chef at Chile's legendary Boragó at just 21 years old in 2015.
After his Chilean adventure, stints at Stockholm’s Oaxen Krog and Paris’ Le Chateaubriand followed, as well as a few other stages along the way. What followed after in 2018 was a pivotal move to Tokyo to be a part of the opening team of Noma’s sister restaurant — Inua, which debuted with not one but two stars at their first Michelin awards. Marcin’s most recent endeavour saw him running Parisian favourite, Maison, for the past three years, where daily-changing menus and the championing of small producers took centre stage.
Now, having seemingly seen and “done it all” by the age of 30 and on a mission of his own, Marcin is ready to make his mark with a unique brand of hyper-seasonal produce-driven cooking.
